Avenue Suites Georgetown – Hotel near airport in Washington

The hotel is perfectly situated between Georgetown and Foggy Bottom Metro station, offering a walkable distance to key tourist sites and convenience with Trader Joes across the street. The rooms come equipped with a full kitchen, ideal for a family of four, but our initial room setup was not the best for a family setup. The staff is friendly and eager to help, but with some room for improvement in handling online deliveries. The dining options could be enhanced for an earlier and more diverse selection, yet the snacks provided are delicious and convenient.

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were excellent-clean, modern, and comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen and a cozy lounge area. However, the two pipe system for heating and A/C made the rooms a bit warm at times. The service was top-notch, with friendly and accommodating staff, especially Ashlee who made my visit extra special with the 'stock the fridge' service. The location was unbeatable, providing a neighborly vibe close to Georgetown. Although the dining seemed a bit pricey, there were grocery stores nearby for convenience. The facilities were great, offering everything needed for a comfortable stay.

The service from the staff members like Ian, Thomas, Ashley, Mufid, Tas & Saife, particularly Taz at the front desk, was warm, friendly, and accommodating. Dining options, like the egg omelet with bacon, cheese & mozzarella cheese at Trader Joe's, were satisfactory but could improve in speed and friendliness. The facilities were decent, enhancing our overall stay with a fair value for money.
